Exclamation Coolant Leak....please help find!

2003 Jetta, 2.0, 5 speed

I've been noticing for a while now, I lose about a cup of coolant per week. I think it leaks only once parked, but not positive. It may leak while driving too. There's been a puddle under the engine, passenger side, since I started losing coolant.

Anyway, I finally had time to put it up in the air today. After a few hours of thawing in the garage, I went to check on it. I found coolant leaking from the crank, on the passenger side. I'm not too sure where the leak is originating, but it's final drip, where it hits the ground, is at the crank....(basically where the crank and oil pan kind of meet).

I ran the motor until it had full operating temp, and I noticed the hose coming from the thermostat stayed cold. All other hoses were hot. Temp gauge was good. I slowly opened the reservoir cap to relieve pressure, since the hoses were getting quite hard. A short time after the pressure relief, the thermostat opened and the hose ran hot.

Can anyone give me an idea of where my leak may possibly be? I can find no other wet spots.

Thank you for any help!
