Default Jetta will not start when warm

Hey guys I am new here my parents have a 2003 Jetta with the 1.8 turbo!! And they have replaced ALL the ignition coils!!!! And the car will start up and run like there is no tomorrow!! But once they drive it pretty much so anywhere it won't start?? They leave it sit it will fire right up again!! I believe the shop also talked them into the ECM!!! Any ideas would be great
