Hello. I have a Jetta 2016 , 1.4TSI 92KW 125HP. Engine code czca. I have noticed that above the oil filter I have an oil leakage. Above the oil filter it's mounted a black plastic housing which contains an additional coolant pump and some pipes. The oil leak is coming from the inside of this plastic cover. See red marking in picture. Can somebody tell me what contains this plastic cover ? Is it possible that inside is located also an oil cooling system ? It is clear that there must be something which contains oil... . Thank you

Energon10, I just changed the oil on my car a couple days ago and noticed the exact same thing. I have the 1.4T in a 17. Did you ever find out what it was?

Yes. The PCV valve. I think the problem is from factory. Which is the mileage of your car ? Do you have a picture with the leak ?? PCV VALVE OEM PN IS 04E 103 464 K

Energon10 Went to the dealership this morning. Looks like I have the same problem. I didn't take a picture but its essentially the same as yours. They cleaned it up and asked for me to return in week just to make sure it was the problem. Just turned over 16,000 miles but it has probably been leaking for a while since there was a lot of dried mud/crap in the leak. 16,000 miles 1.4T 5Speed.

ON what planet's math is that? 22,000 KM on Earth, is 13,670 miles, Earth.

13600 or 16000 miles is almost the same...this is not a big difference for a car. This leak is visible on new VW TSI cars starting with 10-15000 km.

Go to a car lot and compare prices on one with 13600 and one with 16000,
you'll see the difference then...

I just saw the statement that 22000 Km converted to miles, is the same, not
that you were comparing it to the post above yours because you did not quote
it...

We are not debate here the prices of cars. In Europe the prices are identical. We just discuss about mileages and mechanical status. 13600 or 16000 miles for a car is almost the same.
