With DRUM brakes, if it sat too long with the ER brake on, it rusts stuck.
You have to rock it back and forth and try to get them to release. I hate
drum brakes for this reason. I had an HHR that I used once a week, and when
I released the brake, one side stuck, I put it in gear to move forward then
you'd hear a THUD as it released. SO, with drum brakes, I don't use the ER
brake if it's going to sit for more than a week...
You can spray some brake clean in through the adjuster slot, slop it up good
in there... See if it will release...
